Today’s warm-up is a small experiment in softening edges.
It is a mix of cadmium red light, burnt sienna, thio violet, cerulean blue, and ultramarine blue, with a dash of chinese white in the highlights.
I’m afraid this piece did not scan brilliantly. Ugh.
Still a fun piece to work on though!
What’s next for me….
On the current schedule, I have the Art Order Challenge, a personal piece, a whole mess of matting to do, and materials to prepare for GenCon. I have a ton of things to do, just not much on the freelance front.

Ahh, the doldrums. I have found it to be a mixed blessing/ curse.
On the one hand, no contract work and its associated income to count on.
On the other, free time to pursue personal work and preparations for the summer conventions.
Hmmm….
Guess I have some job-hunting to do. :)
