Jeremy McHugh

Studio website and Daily Warm-Up Blog

About

My name is Jeremy McHugh and I am a fantasy/sci-fi artist, illustrator, and cartoonist.

I make my studio in New Hampshire  where I produce my work using both traditional and digital tools.

I have worked mostly in the printed fantasy game marketplace creating illustrations for  pen & paper role-playing games, collectible card games, and board games, along with occasional work in comics, collectible sketch cards,  and concept design.

When not working in the studio, I am an Adjunct Instructor of drawing and illustration at Southern New Hampshire University.

I am now organizing local art educational programs and events under the banner of McHugh Studios offering instruction to students of all ages.

Prior to becoming an artist and university instructor, I enjoyed 12 years working with the youth of Manchester, NH as a staff member at the Manchester Boys’ & Girls’ Club both in their after school program and summer day camp.

I am excited to begin working with aspiring artists as a private and group instructor under my own studio’s banner.

In the blog section of this site, I present my yeoman thoughts on illustration and living the life of a freelance creative ( although the content of this blog will more than likely run off on the more than occasional tangent). I also engage in regular sketch warm-up pieces that I often post.

I hope you will check in often and see my latest goings-on.

Thanks for reading.

Prints For Sale!

I recently opened an account with Fine Art America and they will now carry my growing line of fantasy prints , and macabre prints  in my own gallery.

They offer a wide array of sizes and print surfaces and can even make iPhone and Samsung Galaxy cases available through my gallery on their sister site,  pixels.com  .

    Hey Kristie!
Thanks! It’s great to hear from you. I hope you’re keeping busy as all get-out these days. :)
These warm-up exercises have been very useful to me.
It’s nice to be creative with no serious goal in mind. Very freeing.

I’m picking up ideas that I can apply to future work as well.
    More to come!
